No one wins from you lowering the brightness on your shine.

Pardon me as I take away one more reason for doing so…

So often, we are nervous about being "pushy" or "salesy" and we make ourselves and our offering small.

What does that look like?

❌ Not following up on next steps

❌ Not reminding them of consequences of inaction or insufficient action

❌ Not leading the sale, but following along reactively

This post is here to give you permission to

STOP DOING THAT

⭐ You are an expert in your field.

⭐ You are good at what you do.

⭐ Your offering helps people.

So, if you are being completely honest and transparent with your prospects, then you have no reason to be anything but a fierce advocate for your point of view and your solution.

There's nothing wrong with having a point of view.

There's nothing wrong with having an argument for why your point of view is best

There's nothing wrong with being really good at making your case.

That's not pushy, or salesy. It's helpful.

You know why? Because all of us are big boys, girls, NB's and everything else.

All buyers have their own best interest at heart and they are filtering everything they hear from you (and all of your competitors) to make their purchasing decision.

They're called decision-makers for a reason—they're the ultimate safeguard against making a bad decision.

So, don't worry about being "too much". Give your sales process everything you got. Don't shy away from any part of it.

They'll either see the value or they won't. But you holding back doesn't help anybody.

I'm rooting for you.
